If you are interested in nature, Cape Coral is known by birding enthusiasts for its wide variety of wildlife, as well as the largest population of burrowing owls in Florida. Rotary Park is home to butterflies, foxes, raptors, wading birds, and other wildlife.
Get a good look at the exotic local birds and native fish from the Lake Kennedy boardwalk. If you want to watch manatees in their natural environment, the Sirenia Vista Park is a must! One important note, don’t forget your shells! No Florida vacation is complete without a small collection of seashells. After your day at the beach, you might want to treat yourself to one of the excellent restaurants in the Cape Harbour area and explore the marina and its many boutiques.
